Robbies is located at MM 77 has boats for rent, but the big draw is feeding the
tarpon. Some big suckers. $1.00 per person to get in, and another $3.00 for a
small pail of fish to feed the tarpon. Lay down on the dock, hang the fish over
the side and be ready to have a monster come right out of the water to eat it.
World Wide Sportsman at MM 82 ish. Huge store where you can find just about anything fishing related. They have
gifts, sunglasses, shoes, shirts, pants, shorts, hats, snacks, pillows, rods, reels, fishing line, lures, coolers, anything.
There is a large aquarium where they feed the fish at 1:00 each day. Quite a show.
Latitude 25 neat little shop for knick knacks etc. They have clothes, pictures, cards,
lamps, C/D's, footwear. It's a bright yellow building Gulf side. Located at MM 82.7. Stop
in if you get a chance

This brings up to the last spot we'll mention in Islamorada - Lazy Days. We came across Lazy Days after Hurricane Wilma.
It sits up high on stilts and is Oceanside, so it wasn't damaged in Wilma. We ended up eating at the bar, but the food was
fabulous. It was night so we didn't have a view of anything, but I think the view of the Ocean would also be good.
Outback Steak House - WHAT? You ask. A chain restaurant - A steakhouse???. The food is good. The seating
has a wonderful view of the Ocean. Why not. Not a favorite place of ours, but I thought I'd mention it. The
outback is on the southern end of Islamorada.
Islamorada Fish Company is next to the World Wide Sportsman. It is really 2 places. A store where you can
purchase fresh seafood, and restaurant. Outside dining, decent food. In our opinion Hurricane Wilma really
hurt this place. They "fixed it up" so it is nice and new, but the food is not as good as it once was. Still a nice
spot to stop, but we like Lor-E-Lei better.
Lor-E-Lei is next. It's about MM 82. They have nightly entertainment starting about 5:00 -
5:30. Outside dining. This place has really become a favorite of ours. We stop there almost
every time we drive through. The food is good, the drinks are cold, the entertainment is normally
good. The sunsets are nice. Several times, the performer stopped his show and said. "Wait - the
sunset is beautiful - I need to take a picture". He took the picture and then continued.
One of the first spots you'll come to (traveling from the mainland) is Holiday Isle. Holiday isle
has been reported to have been sold to developers for some $95 MILLION. The development
process has stopped, and I'm not sure of the current status of the Holiday Isle. The "World
Famous Tiki Bar" is there. This is a hopping place most night. There is also Rum Runners on site.

These are just a few of the restaurants in Islamorada. Cady and I seem to get into a rut where we go back to places we like, rather than trying new spots.
If you have any restaurants that you've tried and had a good (or bad) experience, please let us know. We'll add your review so other can gain from your experience.
