Marathon Area Restaurants
There are plenty of good places to eat in Key Colony Beach and Marathon.  This is not an
exhaustive list, it's a list of our FAVORITES.  We add to the list each time we get down there.
Key Colony Beach
Marathon
Sparky's Landing - Close to home, periodic
entertainment,
very good food.  It's a nice
spot to have a drink and a snack in the
afternoon.

Cabana Breezes - Next to the Cabana Club.
Nice bar outside on the Ocean.  Entertainment
available - check schedule.  Food is good, All in
all a nice place to eat.  I'd consider this fin
er
dining.

Key Colony Inn - We haven't eaten there in a
few years.  Indoor seating only - We like to
eat outside when we can.  Food was good.

Marathon Deli - Next to the shops on the
Causeway.  They have coffee, bread, meat,
snacks, newspaper, soda, pastries, gifts, just
about anything you'll need in a pinch to get
through the day.

Key Colony Deli - Right next to the Charter
Boats.  Good coffee, nice pastry, all kinds of
stuff to get you through the day.
Island Fisheries - "The Island" Across US 1.  Nice place
to eat, have a drink, watch the sunset and people.  If you
go out fishing, they will cook your catch for you.  They
charge something like $9 - $10 per person.

Hurricane Bar and Grill - By Home Depot - Gulf side.
Indoor seating (now that I think about it there is
outdoor seating in the back).  Thursdays is $.25 chicken
wing night.  They've got t
erriyaki, hot, garlic, plain, and a
couple of others.  Mix and match, local flock here on
Thursdays.  Will also double as a sports bar.

Keys Fisheries - 35th Street - Oceanside.  MUST have
the Lobster Reuben, buffalo shrimp, lobster bisque, stone
crab chowder, coconut shrimp, fresh fish . . . . . . (Looks
like you'll need to eat here a couple of times)

Dockside - We ate there early April 2007.  NOT A
GOOD EXPERIENCE.  The food was OK at best, the
service was good.  They charge for every soda refill.

Turn off US 1 onto Sombrero BLVD, and take the first
right after the shops. Follow to Dockside.  Entertainment
most nights, pretty good food.  It's on water - more of a
locals place, but don't let that stop you.

Marathon Deli - Behind Circle K, next to the Radio
Shack.  GREAT pastries, good coffee, I like the con leche
with 1/2 sugar.  Keep your cup, get a discount on refills.
I've eaten many breakfast biscuits from here.

Annette's Lobster and Steakhouse - really good food.
Indoor seating.  A bit on the expensive side.  Really could
be considered fine dining.
7 Mile Grill                                       Burdines
Fish Tales                            Cabots
Don Pueblos
